On my way to work this morning, I listened to NPR as I'm wont to do. I don't really care for NPR because I think they're a propaganda network that is there to promote and defend the status quo (Hello Mara Liasson!), but in this day and age of consolidated media, I have little options.
During my 30 minute drive to work, I kept hearing, "War," "War," "War" and more "War" which is nothing unusual in American media. But it struck a nerve with me this morning. 'How many fucking wars are there? And why are we so obsessed with war?'
So, during my downtime at the office, I decided to google "War on" from A to Z. I gotta tell you: We are a SICK country.
